Evangelistic campain in Darwin

I am in Darwin at the moment conducting a four week evangelistic campaign.

God is blessing the evangelistic meetings wonderfully. We have not had anywhere near the same response that we did in Cairns last year (400 non-members at the first meeting last year). We are not sure why, because we prepared and advertised pretty much the same way that we did in Cairns. However some very good people are attending and the attendance is holding very well.

25 came to the first meeting and at meeting six, we still have about 20. Yesterday a family of six from the Congo came.

I met them at the bus stop while Merilyn and I were exercising on Friday morning. I invited them to come.

They had wanted to come, but they had no transport. We picked them up on Sabbath afternoon for the program and they really enjoyed it. He was a Pentecostal minister in Africa. They want to keep coming.

God’s Spirit is working on hearts. The pastors and I have been visiting people all last week. We have some Bible translators attending and really loving the meetings.

Please pray that God will continue to bless those coming and bring more people along.

As of today, we still have 15-20 attending after 3 weeks. The family from the Congo still come and love God’s messages.
